The day shall be spent with game viewing drives / relaxing interludes at the Sambur Game Reserve
Game viewing drives in this dry and scenic game reserve are concentrated along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro river.
This is where most wildlife is found.

Early morning game and scenery viewing drive as you exit the Samburu.
There shall be a stop to view the Thompson falls at Nyahururu.
Proceed to Lake Nakuru Park a birdlife heaven, at the floor of the Great Rift Valley.
Due to some progressive natural factors like increasing water levels , the flamingo numbers have been reducing but the park itself remains stunning – one of Kenya’s finest. Great rocky escarpments tower over acacia forest, waterfalls, wooded hills and euphorbia trees dot the lake.
The few quantity of flamingos is accompanied by other birdlife – pelicans, cormorants, kingfishers, ostriches, storks as well as herons and eagles. The scene here is bountiful, busy and full of color.
But that’s only the beginning of what this special park has to offer because the wildlife viewing here is easy and accessible. Lake Nakuru is known for hosting some endangered but beautiful species. You’re sure to see rare Rothschild’s Giraffe along with white rhino, especially along the lakeshore.
The park is also sanctuary to one of Kenya’s largest populations of black rhino.

Proceed to the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Arrive Masai Mara in time for an afternoon game viewing drive.
Day 5: Full Day – Masai Mara

Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza!
Masai Mara Game Reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world.
It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region.
The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.
We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.
We shall visit the Mara river where we may watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October)

After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge/camp, your dedicated driver guide will assist you with the checkout process and proceed to Nairobi – Kenya’s colorful capital city.
On the way, your guide will point out the Longonot extinct volcano which is a strato volcano located southeast of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya. It is thought to have last erupted in the 1860s and its name is derived from the Maasai word Oloonong’ot, meaning “mountains of many spurs” or “steep ridges “.
You can opt to drive via Naivasha for lunch/excursions at an extra cost or drive straight to Nairobi and pass by Kiambethu farm for the tea farm tour inclusive of a three-course buffet lunch (at an extra cost) OR drive straight back to the capital and later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your back home.
